The Land Between

There is a place where you are not where you should be and you are not where you are going to be…it is the ‘land between’.

“The soil we most detest is the same that grows the fruit that we most desperately desire.” – Jeff Manion

“God is at His best when life is at it’s worst…will you trust Him?” jeff manion

“There are choices made in ‘The Land Between’ that determine the people we are becoming.”

Complaint and trust are incompatible roommates. Trust evicts complaint. – Jeff Manion

A Warrior’s Transformation

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Notice the phrase “Have I not commanded you?” God tells Joshua that we have had this lesson over and over…why don’t you learn this? You don’t have to fear…I am with you!

By chapter 10 a marvelous transformation has taken place.

Joshua 10:25 (NKJV)
25 Then Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the LORD will do to all your enemies against whom you fight.”

The fearful warrior of chapter 1 has become the mighty warrior of chapter 10! How? The words of chapter 1 were in his head. In chapter 10, those words are in his heart! He has received the Word into the very fiber of his being! Receive the Word by an act of your will!

RESURRECTION DAY

IT’S SUNDAY MORNING!

“Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior,
waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!
Vainly they watch his bed, Jesus my Savior,
vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord!
Death cannot keep its prey, Jesus my Savior;
He tore the bars away, Jesus my Lord!”
Up from the grave He arose;
with a mighty triumph o’er his foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
and He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!”

1 Cor. 15:3-4
I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me—that Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, as the Scriptures said.

Rejoice for this validates everything that Jesus did and said! It also grants us a confirmed hope! We who are alive in Christ will one day be reunited with those who are asleep in Christ!

Romans 5:17
The sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over us, but all who receive God’s wonderful, gracious gift of righteousness will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.

HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY!
