Run To the Tower:
Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV) The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.
Psalm 18:1-2 (NKJV)
1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song on the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said: I will love You, O LORD, my strength.
2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
My Rock is my source of blessing…the water flowed from the rock in the wilderness!
My Rock is a a sure foundation. Rock was used to build walls, fortresses, and towers in Bible times. God is our source of strength in times of distress and danger.
My Rock is a refuge…Moses hid in the cleft of the rock.
Climb the Tower and Confess:
I have received mercy and do not lose heart! 2 Corinthians 4:1
We must never faint, regardless of circumstances. Neither weariness nor opposition are to drive us to quit. We must not shrink from the task for any reason. This task is too great, and God’s mercy has done too much for us and will continue to sustain us.
