Run To the Tower:
Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV) The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.
Psalm 31:3 (NKJV)
3 For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me.
Throughout David’s life, the Lord had delivered him from every enemy and through every struggle and war. For eight long years David had been fiercely pursued by King Saul himself, and then for the rest of his life he had been engaged in one war after another. Yet, he had survived them all. And so far as is known, David was never even wounded, not once. So in praising God, David focuses upon the unfailing security of the Lord.
Climb the Tower and Confess:
I am protected!
2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NKJV)
3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
Tthe Lord is faithful, even if we fail to help one another. God will strengthen and guard us against Satan and his evil followers. In fact, the Lord will strenghten and guard us against all evil no matter what it is. Even if the evil seems to be conquering us, it will not—not in the final analysis.
